It’s been a busy year for us all at 16 Degree Shift and it’s important to reflect on 2021 and look forward to 2022. I think it’s fair to say in the covid climate it’s been a challenge for all but we’ve also adapted and learned from the experience. Pre-covid, 16 Degree Shift predominantly delivered our courses in a classroom setting. We have now diversified to deliver live online sessions and have availability outside of working hours to accommodate those who do not have the opportunity to attend during the day as well as our regular classroom sessions.
16 Degree shift is now a NEBOSH and IOSH centre and have retained our prestigious gold status. This is only awarded to providers who greatly exceed learning excellence principles and we’re very proud of this achievement. We have expanded our course portfolio to include:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- NEBOSH International Certificate
- NEBOSH Fire Certificate
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing
16 Degree Shift have continued to grow and support the number of learners on their development journey and we’re exceptionally proud of what they all have been able to achieve last year. We would like to think that this is not only down to the commitment and aptitude of our learners but also due to the support, coaching and pastoral care we offer them. One of our learners scored a 95% resulting in a well-earned distinction which is exceptional!
Over all of our NEBOSH courses, our pass rate is an impressive 85% and 25.7% of our learners achieved a credit or distinction. The feedback from our learners in 2021 has shown we’ve scored 9.3 out of 10 for knowledge and quality of delivery and 9.6 out of 10 for the level of support from the tutorial team. We couldn’t be happier with the feedback provided by our learners and strive to continue our high standards of learner support. We’ve also been moderated on some of our courses this year and had some excellent feedback from NEBOSH.
So what you can look forward to seeing from 16 Degree Shift in 2022?
We are launching a Facebook and Instagram page where we’ll be posting regular content. We’re adding yet more courses to our expanding portfolio with NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate and IOSH Managing Safety.
We also have an array of e-learning courses now available for those who need to digest the materials in their own time. We are always looking to improve our service so if you have any suggestions for new courses please get in touch and register your interest.
