Expert One Day Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace Course

Two million learners use Highfield learning materials, over half a million learners worldwide have taken these award-winning qualifications.

Course Structure & Content

Highfield is a global leader in compliance and work-based learning and apprenticeship qualifications.

They are one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations that are regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations, and Assessment (CCEA), and the Security Industry Authority (SIA). In addition to this, they are also a government-regulated end-point assessment organisation (EPAO).

As an awarding organisation they have developed and designed qualifications to enhance the career prospects of learners. The qualifications cover multiple sectors such as retail, health and social care, finance, customer service, rail and engineering, hospitality, logistics, aviation, and many more.

16 Degree Shift Training and Consultancy Ltd deliver the Highfield level 2 award in health and safety in the workplace level 2 – a basic qualification designed to provide learners with knowledge of the basic health and safety practices important to all workplaces. The subject areas covered within this qualification are regarded by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as being important to maintaining safe working practices in the workplace, as part of the safety at work act.

This recognised HSA one day course (health and safety level 2 awareness) is suitable for site managers, supervisors and employees as a good foundation to perform safely at work and ensure staff are not put at risk. Supervisors and managers may wish to progress on to the level 3 course.

Study with us

We have historically delivered Highfield Training in the training room as either an OPEN course where we would serve learners from a variety of companies or IN-HOUSE courses for organisations that wish to upskill many of their employees in one go. Where UK companies would like their own course, we have been very happy to accommodate their dates at their specified venue.

We intend to continue to offer both ‘in-person’ (2) and live online training over Microsoft Teams where we can easily share course content, encourage collaborative working and deliver teaching sessions.
